What is it?

Thinkpad is a laptop. One of most durable and stylish(imo). I absolutely love the way they work, the way they were made and ideas behind them! My first one was a475, now I use t480 as it has better cpu(a475 couldnt handle even freeCAD :P )

I bought both of them used, but they were in a great condition!

Advantages

  • Well, its... Price! They are quite cheap.
  • TWO BATTERIES!!! External and internal. External 72 wh, internal 24wh. And you can hotswap external batteries! That means you can just take off discharged one and put on a charged one.
  • Cool red dot on a keyboard
  • all that durability stuff
  • good for repairing! Easy to disassemble! Just good looking :)

    • System I use

    Firstly I used linux mint xfce, then cinnamon... It was good, stability and all stuff... 8 hours without charging or so(used for studying, reeeally). But this system wasnt pretty! I wanted more options for... You know, customization! So I swapped this distro for arch linux(yeee, i use arch btw). And it is fun that every time you need some feature, you have tooo spend hour or so to make it work. But then it works flawlessly(for now).
